Case Study: The Forum

The Forum is a Canadian based charity providing support and education for women entrepreneurs. They had launched with a more D.I.Y style website and were looking to upgrade every aspect of their very sizeable site – while still being able to keep it updated by their in house team as much as possible.

Keeping the website on our favourite platform for small businesses and organizations, Squarespace, we started mapping out what became a close to 40 page custom designed and coded website with their new branding.

Web Design

The problem:

  • Website (and brand) didn’t represent the organization well or help to attract their ideal women entrepreneurs

  • Copy was hard to read, cluttered and not SEO optimized

  • Overall effect was that the charity wasn’t as professional or experienced as they actually were

The strategy:

  • Work with Fait Creative to ensure all copy is in the new brand voice and optimized for SEO

  • Custom design a new Squarespace website with the new brand identity

  • Find fun, creative solutions that add interesting layouts and designs while also remaining easy enough for the in-house team to update (where possible)

The results:

  • A fully re-designed website with a custom mega menu, video features, icons and more

  • Marketing templates for Mail Chimp and Powerpoint

  • Multiple PDF guides and interactive workbooks for their programs
